These vegan sourdough burger buns are incredibly soft, fluffy and full of flavor. Perfect for homemade burgers, sandwiches or meal prep. The sourdough starter gives them a beautiful texture and rich taste while keeping them completely dairy and egg free.

Ingrediënten

Scale
  • 500g bread flour
  • 100g active sourdough starter
  • 250ml warm oat milk
  • 50g vegan butter
  • 30g sugar

 

  • 8g salt

Instructies

  • Mix all ingredients in a large bowl until combined.
  • Knead the dough for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Cover and let rise for 4–5 hours until doubled in size.
  • Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and shape into buns.
  • Place on a lined baking tray and let proof for another 1–2 hours.
  • Brush with oat milk and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  • Bake at 200°C for 18–20 minutes until golden brown.
